Damian Fraser

CEO & Founder

Damian Fraser founded Miranda Partners in 2018 after serving as the Managing Director of UBS in Mexico from 2011 to 2018. Before that, he was the Head of Equities and Research for Latin America at UBS since 1998. At the beginning of his career, Damian was a journalist at The Economist (economic correspondent) and the Financial Times (head of the Mexico bureau). He holds a CFA and a Master’s in Public Administration from Harvard University and a Bachelor’s in Economics and Philosophy from Oxford University. He has written several articles and essays on FinTechs, SOFIPOs, regulated banks, and their opportunities and challenges in Mexico.

Marimar Torreblanca

Partner
Marimar Torreblanca co-founded Miranda ESG in 2020. Previously, she spent 15 years at UBS in Equity Research, specializing in real estate for the last 10 years. In 2019, Institutional Investor ranked her as the top equity research analyst in Mexico in the Real Estate category. She is well-known for her in-depth reports on corporate governance issues within the FIBRAs sector. Marimar graduated with honors in Economics from ITAM and holds a Master’s in Applied Mathematics, specializing in Operations Research, from Columbia University in New York. She is also a Chartered Financial Analyst, certified by the CFA Institute.

Daniela Madrazo

Sr. Analyst
Daniela holds a Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration and Strategy with a Minor in Finance from Instituto Tecnológico de Estudios Superiores de Monterrey (ITSEM), where she spent a semester abroad at Yonsei University in Seoul, South Korea. Graduating with Honorable Mention, she was also selected to moderate the “Mueve tu Ciudad” panel with Mexico City’s mayoral candidates. She worked for two years as a Financial Advisor at Scotia Wealth Management, holding an AMIB Level 3 certification from the BMV. Since then, she has worked at Miranda Partners, in both the IR and ESG divisions, and served as an anchor at the 2022 Forbes Green Economy and Sustainable Development Forum.

Jorge Girault

Jr. Analyst
Jorge studied Chemical Engineering at Universidad Iberoamericana. Before joining the team at Miranda Partners, he worked at I-Structure as a financial analyst. Additionally, he is currently involved in a community service project that focuses on the valorization of sargassum on Mexico’s Caribbean coast.

Daniela Gomez

Jr. Analyst

Daniela studied Applied Mathematics at ITAM. She initially joined Miranda Partners as an Investor Relations and ESG intern. Before rejoining the firm, she worked as a research assistant at Seele Neuroscience and as a research associate at the Instituto de Investigaciones Biomédicas at UNAM, where she developed and analyzed mathematical models. 

Ana Luz Presbítero

Jr. Analyst

Graduated in International Relations from Tecnológico de Monterrey and holds a Master’s degree in International Cooperation for Development from Instituto Mora. 

With a professional career focused on sustainable development and climate change, she has experience in non-governmental organizations such as Iniciativa Climática de México and the Mexican Center for Environmental Law (CEMDA). She has worked as a climate policy consultant for the Inter-American Development Bank (IDB) and, in 2019, completed an internship at the United Nations Framework Convention on Climate Change (UNFCCC). She served as Deputy Director of Climate Transparency at the Ministry of Environment and Natural Resources from 2020 to 2021. 

She has collaborated as a reviewer for international reports, including the Climate Transparency Report (2021, 2022, 2023) and the Emissions Gap Report (2022, 2023), among others. 

Andrea Whitehouse

Intern

Andrea is passionate about finance and its impact on ESG (Environmental, Social, and Governance) issues. She is currently pursuing a degree in Financial Management at Universidad Anáhuac México Campus Sur, with a minor in Environmental Management from the Faculty of Engineering. She has complemented her education with a diploma in Strategic Planning from the same university and has taken several courses focused on Sustainable Finance. Currently, she is in the process of establishing her own volunteer organization to contribute to the well-being of Mexican communities through projects that address social and environmental challenges.
